Mechanical Designer / AUOTCAD 6 month temp-to-hire assignment
Description: The successful Mechanical Designer candidate will be involved in the design of either mechanical or monitoring/alarm systems including the performance of field construction inspections and acceptance testing. A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, and at least 2 years of mechanical design experience with strong knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of NFPA standards and applicable building codes also preferred. This position includes travel (up to 40% of the time). The position is located at our clients office in Olathe, KS. Maintenance Tech at Steel & Pipe Supply Co, Inc – Must have 3-5 years board level diagnostic experience. Knowledge of low voltage hydraulics, preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, and able to develop a record keeping system as well as knowledge of lasers and burn tables. Machine operation experience on the following is preferred: Plasma Cutter, Tube Laser, Flat Laser and press brake. 3-4 years of experience in production welding highly preferred.
