CERT Hosts Search and Rescue Training

Lost Hunter Scenario:

CERT has been called out to assist searching for a local hunter who never showed back up home last night. It is now 08:00 the next morning and local authorities have asked for help from Fire District #1 and CERT.  We will be searching through wooded areas and tall grass as we try to find the lost hunter and bring him to safety.

Come join us for our first training of 2018 as we start off with an amazing training opportunity. We will meet at Station 1 at 0730 to be ready to leave by 0800 to head to our training ground.

NOTE: You will need your CERT PPE. Make sure you dress appropriately for walking around in wooded terrain and whatever the weather throws at us on February 17th.

Set your alarm clocks and be ready to have some fun and train hard!

As always, this training will count towards the yearly requirement of 8 hours of continuing education credits.
