Enrollment Open for Summer Enrichment Programming


Every summer, USD 231 offers a variety of fun and engaging classes through Summer Programming. This year, we are excited to announce the programming will be expanded by adding new enrichment classes at Bistro 425, the GEHS Culinary program; and the Advanced Technical Center at GEHS.

Summer Programming is designed to support student learning with engaging, high-interest activities that promote student creativity, problem-solving and reinforcement of core learning skills.

Classes will be held at Trail Ridge Middle, Wheatridge Middle, Gardner Edgerton High School and the Advanced Technical Center; and will be offered in a variety of date combinations.

Session times are 8 am to10 am and 10:15 am to12:15 pm. Students enroll for the grade they will enter in August 2018.

Session 1: June 4-7, 2018

Session 2: June 11-14, 2018

Session 3: June 18-21, 2018

Session 4: June 25-28, 2018

How to register:

– Visit www.usd231.com, click on the Catch a Wave Summer Programming graphic. Review course options. Click on the link to register for courses, www.teamsideline.com/geycp.

– Set up an account with TeamSideline (Username and Password). Make sure to add your child to your account by clicking “Add Enrollee”.

– Enroll your child into courses.

– Pay with credit card, check, or cash. If paying by credit card, there is a $1.50 service per transaction. You can drop off or mail your payment to USD 231 Board of Education Offices, Attention, GEYCP. 231 E. Madison Street. Gardner, Kansas. 66030.

– All courses are contingent on a minimum enrollment and availability of staffing. Classes have a maximum capacity of 16 (unless specified). Enrollment will occur in order of completed forms and payment. A waiting list will be created.

Summer Programming is financially supported through student tuition. Registration is not complete until payment is received; students with outstanding fees may be removed from class rosters beginning on May 23, 2018. Transportation is not provided for Summer Programming.
