WEEKDAY LANE CLOSURES: The following southbound I-35 lane closures will take place the week of March 14-17, weather permitting, as crews begin setting traffic control and temporary pavement marking installation for the upcoming traffic shift for both northbound and southbound I-35. Monday, March 14, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Southbound I-35 LEFT LANE from 119th Street to 151st Street CLOSED.
Tuesday, March 15, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Southbound I-35 TWO LEFT LANES from 119th Street to 151st Street CLOSED.
Wednesday, March 16, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Southbound I-35 TWO RIGHT LANES from 119th Street to 151st Street CLOSED.
Thursday, March 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Southbound I-35 RIGHT LANE from 119th Street to 151st Street CLOSED.
WEEKEND DAY LANE CLOSURE: Southbound I-35 TWO LEFT LANES from 119th Street to 151st Street CLOSED with various lane switches throughout the day on Saturday, March 19 from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.
24/7 LONG-TERM RAMP CLOSURE: Santa Fe Street/135th Street to southbound I-35 entrance ramp will be FULLY CLOSED, 24/7 round the clock, at some point during the day, Saturday, March 19 through late September 2016. A marked detour will be provided. See detour map above. Santa Fe Street/135th Street traffic will detour via southbound Mur-Len Road to westbound 151st Street to access southbound I-35.

The Kansas Department of Transportation urges all motorists to be alert, obey the warning signs, and “Give ‘Em a Brake!” when approaching and driving through the project work zone.
