The city has initiated the first phase of its 10-year pavement management program to preserve and enhance the city’s street network. Work will include curb and gutter replacement, as well as mill and overlay, at the following locations:

  • Walter Street
  • Madison Street
  • 174th Terrace (off Walter Street)
  • 174th Street (off Walter Street)
  • 172nd Street (off Walter Street)
  • Spruce Street (off Madison Street)

Those who live along these streets will be given 24-hour notice via door hanger, requesting vehicles to be moved. The removal and replacement process is expected to take no longer than four days.

The only full street closure will occur on Madison Street from Gardner-Edgerton High School to Pine Street. This stretch of street will be closed for two days in late July (dates to be determined).
