Sheriff’s Office to Conduct Mock Crash at Spring Hill High School
Johnson County, Kan. – On Friday, April 21st at 9:30 a.m., the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Spring Hill High School, Johnson County Fire District 2, Johnson County Med-Act, and Life Flight, will be conducting a mock crash at Spring Hill High School, 19701 S. Ridgeview Road, Spring Hill, KS.
The event is being held to raise awareness of the dangers of driving while impaired and distracted driving. A wrecked vehicle provided by Marvins Tow Service, along with students in stage makeup, will illustrate a scary scene for the onlookers. There will be a realistic response by law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and the fire department. Bruce’s Funeral Home will also be on scene with a hearse.
