Dustin Randell was arraigned on October 10. The charges, stemming from an alleged break-in and vandalism of the Gardner-Edgerton High School on February 26, are as follows:
Burglary – not dwelling, a level 7 felony
Criminal Damage >$1000>$2500, a level 9 felony
Misdeameanor theft, a level A misdemeanor
Bail was set at $7,500 pending the preliminary hearing scheduled for October 19. Randell is permitted to return to Missouri, where he currently resides, while out on bail.
The names of any accomplices have not been released.
The suspect, arrested in Taney County, MO, last week, was transferred to the Johnson County Detention Center in Olathe to await arraignment on October 10.
Dustin Michael Randell, 25, was arrested on Tuesday, October 2, in Taney County, Missouri on a Johnson County burglary warrant resulting from the investigation of the February 2017 burglary of the Gardner Edgerton High School. The suspect was held on a $25,000 bond pending extradition proceedings.
