5:00 pm at Edgerton's Maintenance Shop located just west of the library in downtown Edgerton. This event allows cat owners to get rabies vaccinations at an affordable rate. You can also get your cat registered with the City. The City makes every effort to return found pets to their proper owner. By registering your cat, the City will be better able to return your animal in the event it becomes lost. City Code requires that both dogs and cats get registered with the City.

7:00 at City Hall - Meeting will include Public Hearing regarding a Community Development Block Grant application for 2011 funding to be submitted by the City to Johnson County. The maximum annual grant, per County guidelines, is $100,000. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and written comments are welcome. 

7:00 am to 10:00 am at Edgerton City Hall - Troop 369 will be holding their annual Easter Pancake Breakfast.  

11:30 am to 3:30 pm at ITW Labels, 147 W Cherokee, Gardner, KS - The Community Blood Center's mobile team will be parked in front of ITW Labels in our 'Blood Vessel' bus. If you'd like to donate during this drive, please contact Jerri Howe at 913-856-2546 ext. 120.

12:00 pm to 4:00 pm - Blood Drive at Edgerton United Methodist Church, 300 E 4th Street, Edgerton, KS in memory of Tom Richards.
 

5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Gardner American Legion Hall, 315 Meadowbrook Circle - All you can eat mountain oysters, stuffed cabbage rolls, brisket, baked potato & green beans. Donation $10 for adults, $5 children 12 & under. Free for children under 3.
 

11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Gardner Price Chopper - Buy hot dog, chips & drink for $1 will all proceeds going to Don Bechard Memorial Tournament & Scholarship. 

7:30 pm at Conestoga Estates - Meeting to include election of Post Officers.

Most of the featured business owners are Gardner residents.  

10:00 am to 2:00 pm at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 306 E Madison, Gardner, KS - Come one,Come all! We are having Carnival to raise money for Open Arms! We will have a moon walk, hot dog lunch,and lots of games! $.50per ticket or 30 tickets for $10. Hope to see you there! 

3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Pioneer Ridge Middle School auditorium - Auditions for GCT production of 'Annie' will be the following weekend. Interested? GCT directors will show excerpts from Annie & provide helpful hints about auditions, plus everyone can sing along with some of the great musical numbers from the show! Also chance to ask questions about whole production process from auditions to set striking. This a great opportunity for any performer, or parents of performers, to become familiar with Annie and the production itself.

April 6th - April 10th Kid's Closet Consignment will hold the 4th semi-annual consignment sale is Gardner. Over 25,000 items!! Clothing (infant - teens), toys, books, shoes, strollers, swings, infant care items, maternity clothing and items, and so much more!

8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Wheatridge Middle School, 318 E Washington St, Gardner, KS. Pre-entry deadline is April 17th with $20 pre-entry fee, $25 day of show. Awards Ceremony at 3:00 pm. All proceeds benefit local charities. First 100 entries receive dash plaque and goodie bag. 

5:30 pm to 6:30 pm - The library is the perfect family place on Wednesday nights. Drop by and join us as we watch a movie and offer occasional art activities. Registration is not necessary. 

4:00 pm to 5:00 pm - A read-aloud experience! Enjoy an after-school snack as the librarian shares some of her favorite books! Ages 10-14 welcome. Registration is not necessary. 

6:00 pm at Spring Hill Library - Multi-published writer and artist Andre Parks will talk about writing and drawing for this very popular and fast growing genre. He will have samples of his work and answer questions. Books will be available for purchase, or bring your own for Ande to sign. Everyone is welcome. Registration is not necessary. 

4:00 pm to 7:00 at Gardner Library Meeting Room - Drop in and test your skills. Wii Sports and a variety of other games will be available for play. Ages 11-18. Registration is not necessary.

Various genres and authors will be selected and titles will be chosen by the group. Registration is not necessary.

6:30 am Sunrise Service at Gardner Nazarene, 167th & Moonlight, Gardner, KS. They will also hold a 10:45 am Easter Celebration.
 

6:00 pm at Sacred Heart Parish Hall on Warren Street. $25 donation to benefit Pro-Life causes supported by Knights of Columbus Council. Cash prizes for first several places, as well as raffle items. Food drinks and snacks will be available.
