Gardner-Edgerton holds belated signing day celebration

GARDNER, KAN.---With National Signing Day coinciding with a crippling snowstorm, athletes from Gardner-Edgerton High School's football and soccer programs had to wait a few days for their celebration. Official letters of intent went out as planned on Wed., Feb. 5, but the pomp and circumstance was delayed until the following Monday. 

12 Trailblazer seniors signed with colleges, including 10 football players; the highest number of college signees in Gardner-Edgerton football history. Those names include:

Trailblazer soccer netted two college signees: Luke Fischer (Mid-America Nazerene University) and Andrew Dittemore (Missouri State University) 

"Both of these young men were integral parts of GEHS Blazer soccer during their time here and will be sorely missed but greatly appreciated for their contributions," said Head Coach Andy Weber.
