Spring - Celebrate by adopting a pet!

Ferdinand, a real lover, is waiting for you to come visit!

I love spring! It's my favorite season. I love to watch everything start to green up - my own spirit is renewed as new life unfolds around me. It's fun to watch kids and animals revel in the new season, also. Our dogs and cat spend more time outside, enjoying the warmth and the sunshine, the changes in their world not yet obvious to us.

Going for a walk is a great way to take in those daily changes at this time of year. It's even more enjoyable with our boxers (Joe & Candy) prancing along. I appreciate our cat even more in the spring, as in the fall, because our Tiger really lives up to his name! He's a big baby when he's being a house cat, but becomes a mighty hunter when he roams outside.

You may want to check out the pets at the Gardner animal shelter who are up for adoption. All three of these pets have reputations for being friendly with good manners.
