Gardner Fantastic Sams Celebrates 4th Anniversary With Top Honor

The Gardner Fantastic Sams hair salon received a nice present for its 4th anniversary -- the notification that it was among the Top 50 Fantastic Sams in 2009. The full-service, family hair salon franchise has nearly 1,400 salons across North America, most locally owned. The Top 50 award is based on professionalism, cleanliness, stylist training, and sales volume.
The Gardner salon was previously recognized as Top 50 in 2008 and Top 100 in 2007. "We are honored to have received this recognition again for 2009," said Jason Nokes, co-owner along with his wife, Aleksandra. "It goes to show we truly have the most friendly and talented stylists in the area."
Nokes is quick to point out that 2009 was not an easy year. "Our customers were hit by the economy and layoffs like everyone else. In response we started accepting competitor coupons, lowering our own offers, and creating bundled and express services. This way our loyal guests don't have to sacrifice quality for price."
