Brent Bays Foundation Fundraiser at Dominos on Wednesday, April 21

The Brent Bays Foundation will be partnering with Dominos Pizza in Gardner on April 21st for a pizza fundraiser! Just mention the Brent Bays Foundation and 15% of your purchase will be donated to the Foundation. The Brent Bays Foundation is a local non-profit organization working on raising money for individuals in and around the Gardner community who have been financially impacted by a battle with cancer. Donations to the Brent Bays Foundation can be made at any Metcalf Bank.

The Foundation is hosting a 5K Run/Walk at Celebration Park in Gardner on Sunday May 16, 2010 at 8:00am. We are still looking for volunteers and participants! All ages/abilities are welcome to participate. At 9:00am, we will have a "Bases for Brent" celebration at the baseball diamond where children and adults of all physical abilities can show support to the Brent Bays Foundation by walking the bases. For more information or to register for the race and/or for "Bases for Brent" go to www.bbfcancer.org. Register by April 30, 2010 to guarantee yourself an event t-shirt. You do not need to register to come out and show your support on Sunday, May 16th - donations will be accepted in the form of cash or check on event day. Bring the whole family - we are going to have a great time!!!

There are lots of prize drawings you can win if you register as a participant! Everything from gift cards to CD's and autographed items that the radio station helped us obtain. Be sure to stick around for the awards ceremony to see if you win ... must have a bib number to win - bib numbers will go to all registered 5K participants. Have fun!
