Are you looking for an Easter Egg Hunt to take the family to? Many organizations in the area are hosting not only egg hunts, but also events for the entire family. Carnival games, family fun runs/walks, train rides and lots of fun for all ages. Check the dates and times before you head out and enjoy! April 16th - 10-11:30 or April 17th - 2-3:30p.m. The Royal Easter Tea Partyat Top Performance Dance Academy This camp is available for 3-6 year old's and will be held on Saturday, April 16th from 10-11:30 a.m. or on Sunday, April 17th from 2-3:30p.m. Each participant will be provided with a costume to wear while at the studio and make a craft to take home. The camp includes ballet, stories, some theater and ends with a performance at the tea party. Information is available at the studio 324 E. Main Street Gardner, by phone at 913-884-6672 or at www.topperformancedance.com. April 16th - 9a.m. Annual Edgerton Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 16th, 9 a.m. at the Edgerton Ball fields. Bring your cameras and your baskets. Ages 0-12. Lots of eggs, prizes and the Easter Bunny! Rain date will be Saturday, April 23rd.
April 16th - 11AM American Legion Unit #19 will host a community Easter Egg Hunt. Age groups for children 10 and under. Saturday April 16th 11AM at Cornerstone Park, Gardner. This event is held regardless of the weather.
April 16 - 9-11 a.m Fellowship Bible Church in Gardner will hold its annual Easter Eggstravaganza from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16. Church volunteers are filling more than 4,000 eggs with candy and prizes to accommodate the throngs of youngsters who are expected to attend. In addition to egg hunts for various age groups (ranging from birth through sixth grade), the Eggstravaganza will feature a series of craft booths relating to the Easter story. The Easter Bunny also will be on hand for photos. The Easter Eggstravaganza is free and open to the public. Weather permitting, the event will be held outside on the church grounds at 16900 S. April 16th - 1pm & 2pm Join First Light, A United Methodist Faith Community, as they hold an annual Easter Egg Hunt, which will be on April 16th with 2 times... 1pm & 2pm at Veterans Park. Different areas for different age groups. Games, lots of yummy candy and a possible appearance by the Easter Bunny. No Rain Date.
April 17th - 12:30pm Come join in on the fun! On April 17th, Indian Creek Community Church will host its 3rd annual FREE Easter Egg Hunt for the community at Wheatridge Middle School. Door prizes and carnival games begin at 12:30pm with the egg hunts for all ages to start at 1:00pm. This is a perfect opportunity to invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers for a couple hours of family fun!
April 23rd - 2:00-4:00 Grace Baptist Church Easter Eggstravaganza Grace Baptist Church will be having its first annual Easter Eggstravaganza on April 23rd from 2:00-4:00. We will have games, face paint, crafts, and a large blow up slide, and of course an Easter egg hunt! We only ask for a $1 donation for unlimited access to all activities. April 23 - 9:00 AM The Edgerton United Methodist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children up to sixth grade on Saturday, April 23, 9:00 AM. We will begin with breakfast in the Fellowship Hall, followed by the Easter Egg Hunt and a drawing for prizes. For more information, go to the EUMC website, www.edgertonumc.org.
April 23 - 10am, Noon, 2 &4 pm Midland Railway in Baldwin City The Easter Bunny is visiting the Midland Railway in Baldwin City, KS again this year on April 23rd!! Bring your child(ren) and take a train ride with the Easter Bunny. Once at Norwood, KS. you will exit the train and hunt for 300+ Easter Eggs!! Tickets are $7.00 per child and $12.00 per adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Trains Depart Midland Railway Depot at 1515 W. High Street, Baldwin City, KS at 10am, Noon, 2 &4 pm. Tickets are first come, first serve.
