Health Mart Healthy Living Tour to Host Special Celebration in Gardner

Tour to honor local community pharmacist and feature free health screenings for all

The Health Mart Healthy Living Tour is on the road to celebrate and recognize community pharmacists for the important role they play as trusted health care providers in their communities.

As part of this celebration, the Health Mart Healthy Living Tour is honoring Gardner Health Mart Pharmacy's Sam Boyajian for going above and beyond the call of duty to provide exemplary education, guidance and service to people managing diabetes. Boyajian is one of only 10 Health Mart pharmacists across the country being honored. Health Mart representatives will be on hand to present him with a personalized award to commemorate his achievements.

In addition to the award ceremony, Health Mart will be offering FREE health screenings that include blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and Hemoglobin A1c tests.

The goal is to identify people at risk and encourage people with diabetes to manage their condition with the help of their Health Mart pharmacist-always there to provide counsel on ways to reduce medication spending and better understand drug regimens/complications. Health Mart recognizes that community pharmacists are essential to the towns and cities they live and work in. The Health Mart Healthy Living Tour is just another way to say "Thanks for all the hard work."

FREE health screenings will be available to all on Friday, July 22nd, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Gardner Health Mart Pharmacy, 131 East Main Street, Gardner. FREE food will be served beginning at 10 am.
