The Wizard Comes to Gardner
“Follow the yellow brick road” to the Gardner Edgerton High School Theater Department production of the beloved MGM film, The Wizard of Oz.
The classic will feature members of the Gardner Edgerton High School band and orchestra with more than 85 cast and crew members from USD 231 middle and high schools.
A variety of costumes, flying aerobatics of witches and monkeys, and exciting special effects including a one-of-a-kind light show, are planned to make this production one of the most exciting events in Gardner Edgerton High School history.
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 8; a matinee performance at 2 p.m. and evening performance at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. The production will be held in the Gardner Edgerton High School Auditorium. Tickets are $7.
