Jerald “Jerry” Len Higginbotham, 56, of Gardner, KS passed away May 27, 2018. Jerry was born September 1, 1961 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to Willie D. and Wanda Lee (Gossett) Higginbotham. He graduated from De Soto High School in De Soto, TX in 1979. Jerry lived in Texas most of his life and then moved to Gardner in 2016 for work. He worked for Kubota Corp. for the last 13 years, the last two years he was a Quality Control Inspector. Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Lynn McLeskey, on September 1, 2012 in Red Oak, TX. He loved Tex-Mex food, the Texas Longhorns, camping, visiting with friends, listening to his favorite music and smoking an occasional cigar. His dog, Gilli, was his “little buddy”. He will be missed by family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of the home; mother, Wanda of Lancaster, TX; son, Christopher Chad Higginbotham of Grandview, TX; step-son, Joshua Mark Love of Dallas, TX; siblings: Willie D. Higginbotham of Garland, TX, Terry Higginbotham of Lancaster, TX, Cherry Edwards of Red Oak, TX and Carrie Higginbotham of Lancaster, TX and former wife, Terri Byrn, Grandview, TX.
