The GEHS bowling team just completed its second year. At this rate, however, they should take the State Championship next year! The boys missed qualifying for the State Finals as a team by only 15 pins. Fortunately, however, the 6 top-scoring players from non-qualifying teams (both boys and girls) also compete at State. Jeff Ragland, Chris Martin and Audra Barber all qualified as individuals. The boys played on Thursday, March 4.
Chris Martin rolled a perfect 300 game! Jeff Ragland also had a great day. When the competition was over, Ragland finished 6th with a 683 series. Martin finished 7th with a 674 series.
Audra Barber will compete in the girls State Finals on Friday, March 5.
Check back to the EDGE for more details as they become available.
