8th grade JV results vs. Baldwin
The Huskies traveled to Baldwin on Monday to get back in action against the Bulldogs. The Huskies started slow, but after a few empty possessions buckled down and got to business. They finished the game with a 31-14 win. Max Clark led the team in scoring with 8 points to go with 3 steals and 2 rebounds. Cooper Cox added 6 more points with 4 steals and Isaiah Jackson also had 6 points with 4 rebounds and 1 block. Noah Short had 5 points with 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Dayton Williams added 2 points and had 4 steals. Evan Wooten added 2 more points and Myles Haynes had 2 points and 2 rebounds. The Huskies get a long break now and will be back in action at home against Pioneer Ridge on Monday.
8th Grade Varsity Huskies Emerge Victorious Against Baldwin
Trail Ridge emerged victorious 61-34 against Baldwin on Monday on the strength of Brett Harding, who scored 15 points. Making 55% of shots from the field, Harding had a solid performance on the court for the Trail Ridge Huskies. Trey Kaberline went into double digits, scoring 11 points for Trail Ridge including three from beyond the arch. Also helping the effort for Trail Ridge were Owen Krouch (8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals), Laine Meyer (6 points, 3 rebounds, 4 steals), Ian Deghand (6 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block), Shawn Waters (5 points, 6 rebounds), Jakob Renaud (4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal), Trevor Layng (4 points, 1 rebound, 5 steals), and Isaiah Jackson (2 points). Trail Ridge finished the game with 27 rebounds, one block and a season high 20 steals.
